Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce

The Bainbridge Museum was purchased Oct. 27, 2000 from the Algonkin Grange members for $1.00. Many thanks to the Algonkin Grange members for this generous donation to our village. The building still houses Sixty Plus, grange meetings, the auto club and is for rent for individual parties.

The museum has many Indian artifacts, items from the Dry Milk plant, American plastics items, American separators, many photos of these past businesses. Small replica of a working grist mill, many maps, old books, newspapers, photos of the Bainbridge train wreck.

The Bainbridge Historical Society is preserving the history of Bainbridge and if you have something you'd like to donated, phone Mary Drachler at 967-8546.

The museum is open Sunday from 2PM to 4PM and in the summer from 10AM to 12 Noon. Members are always needed to carry on this work, phone or E-mail membership chairperson M. Herrick at 967-5202.
